Aterion Strengthens Its Finnish Presence Through the Acquisition of Etec Automation
The acquisition further strengthens Aterion’s position in Finland and adds broad expertise in electrification, industrial projects, and renewable energy solutions, supporting the group’s long-term Nordic growth strategy.
Founded in 1974, Etec Automation delivers a wide range of turnkey solutions, with core expertise in electrical engineering and extended capabilities in energy and infrastructure-related services. The company’s portfolio includes industrial electrification projects, energy distribution, and large-scale solar development. Etec Automation’s customer base includes power utilities, industrial firms and construction companies. Headquartered in Imatra, the company also operates in Lappeenranta, Kirkkonummi, and Seinäjoki.
